HAPPY NEW YEAR!


Happy New year to all! Hope you all had a rad Christmas and New Years! We had a sweet break with a little too much fun but now its business time again.

Well it is almost that time of the year again where we all get to enjoy the festive season with friends and family. Sit back, relax and reminisce on the year that was.

CALOUNDRA

A Big thanks to all the rad skaters and riders that showed us some serious support at Caloundra. Good young talent floating around the coastal suburbs and we were more than happy to throw out some freebies to show our support for the local scene. Over the summer we will be hitting loads of skate parks/surf beaches to spread the THREDS word and support the locals with some freebies and vouchers so stay tuned and get those best tricks ready, we will be rewarding you!

Threds, officially launched!

16 September 2012

Well, what can we say? That was a ridiculous night! We were not expecting that! Thank you to everyone who made their way to the Launch at X&Y on Friday Night, I am sure you will all agree it was a banging night! The atmosphere, the entertainment and the sea of Threds Merchandise covering the masses made way for what can only be described as ' A success'.

Fundamental Elements kicked off the tunes with some boom bap beats getting the crowd bouncing especially with the "Official Threds Song" which featured  filthy bass drops and some catchy swagger. These lads know how to party and they definitely got the club pumped for a raucous night.

The Sweet Apes followed up and for a group of young guns they sure know how to bring it. Their heavy yet melodic riffs made way for some soaring vocals out front and had everyones  heads turning. Although young, they posses some serious talent and I am sure this won't be the last we see of them.

Hands Down ensured there were feet on the dancefloor and he had all begging for more. Throwing in classics and some of his own beats, legs would have been sore all over Brissy today from peeps tearing it up and busting out the serious moves.

Congratulations to Micheal Martin, Damien Winrow and Daniel Riggs. Winners of the $500, $250, $100 raffle respectively.

Thank you to all behind the scenes for making the night possible, you know who you are.

Once again, thank you for all who made the Official Threds Launch everything we were wanting plus loads more.

Threds Official Launch!

Hey All!

Hope this olympic period is treating you well and keeping you as busy as we are. We have been crazy busy preparing for the launch party, organising entertainment, giveaways, discounts all for you to enjoy on the night!

The Official Launch is now in place and we are adding the final touches to ensure a killer night to be had by all. It will be held at the X & Y Bar in The Valley, Brisbane, on Friday 14th September. We have secured The Sweet Apes (Triple J) from Sydney, Melbourne DJ Hands Down, and local lads Fundamental Elements to set the night off with some killer tunes. 

We have been provided with loads of stock from many of the brands featured on Threds including Bambam, Breo, DTA Rogue Status, La Vur, Orchill, Perv Eyewear, Freek Ugly, Swallows N Daggers, DE Collective, Rook and many more, so all attending should go home with some sort of reward!

Tell your mum, tell your grandad, tell your neigbour, tell your boss. This is going to be a raucaus occasion and we would love nothing more than for as many people to come and celebrate the Official Launch of Threds with us. We have all worked tirelessly behind the scenes to get to this point and we want as many people to be involved to enjoy this special occasion with us.

Threds announced the winners of the $250 Stock Giveaway this weekend, Adrian Boselli and Ben Wilson. Big ups to the boys who now have their choice of any stock up to $250. Threds is proud to announce Melbourne Electro/Dubstep Dj/Producer Hands Down has joined the Threds team. 

This young and exciting Producer has graced the stages internationally and throughout Oz at some of the most exclusive clubs and events.

His NeoClassical Metalelectro beats have sent shockwaves down the Melbourne City scene recently and we feel that is just the reason to jump on board and support this homie.

Like Threds, he shares the same passion and ideals of breaking the monotony and bringing something fresh to the scene.
